Our Beliefs

Wylie Methodist Church is a family of believers under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12

We believe that we are all sinners redeemed by God’s grace through Jesus Christ.

 “..for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.” Romans 3:23-24

We believe God’s absolute truth is found in Holy Scripture.

 “All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17

We believe that the Holy Spirit is our source of power as we seek to fulfill Christ’s great command to “Go and Make Disciples.”

 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8
