Prayer Ministry

Jesus said, “my house shall be called a house of prayer”. Our desire at Wylie Methodist is to be obedient to the desires of Christ.

We utilize prayer chains to pray for needs at our homes,  urgent needs and for special events. We also have someone in our prayer room every Sunday morning along with having the Staff and Prayer Team available to pray for anyone anytime during the morning service.

The spiritual practice of conversing with God. It involves both speaking to God and listening for His response.

A Place to Pray

Wylie Methodist Church has a prayer room that is a quiet, comfortable space, purposefully set aside for people to pray, journal, or study the Bible. The prayer room is available 24/7. When the building is open, you can access it via the door and short hallway behind the children’s nursery. Or, you can ask for the code and access it right from the front parking lot.

Monday Noon Prayer Time

Each Monday at noon, we meet in the sanctuary for a corporate prayer time with the focus being for our city, state, nation, government, and world issues. Everyone is invited.

Sunday Night Prayer

On Sunday nights at 6:00 pm we meet in the sanctuary to pray for the needs within our Fellowship. If you would like to join in praying for our church body, or if you have personal prayer needs, please join us on Sunday evenings.

How Do I Submit a Request for Prayer?

Wylie Methodist Church has a team of people committed to praying for the needs of anyone who asks. Simply submit your prayer request below.  Be assured that this team will join you in bringing your request before God.
